The Way It Was

I used to live to drink
I Took no time to think
I lived for the fun
An stayed on the run.
No family of my own I
was all alone with no home,
I found a man to wed
Then I wished that I was dead.
My life became a nightmare
That we only could share.
They say take the good with the bad,
But the bad was all that was there.
Here I am full of regret
Wishing we had never met.
So if you drink while you shop
You won't know what you've got,
Until you wake up sober and roll over
and find rover, the price you paid,
so now your life might as well be over.
because he surely weren't any clover.

There's a time when
life was fine the
ways were neat and so
very sweet and I was complete,
This was the best of all,
but now I believe I'm taking
a fall,I'm off the ball
and rolling down fast,
This is a feeling that
I know will last,the walls
are closing there's no escape,
Why can't the world just
wait? soon it will be to late.

Dream less nights i sought to
fight in my sight of the unknown.
a place i thought was home, to
be more than a stone of property,
one whom is over drawn to deceit
and lies, one who is always trying
to get by the ridged times of the
past that haunts,It's so overwhelming
it over rides the mind taken in by time,
it will never be proclaimed by which
you can see, it's never there for me.
always dwelling trying to escape
the fears in which we live, but there
in the path your drawn to abide by
this senseless measure of the
unordinary, so you strive just to stay
alive in the depths of chains that
bound you, and are dragging you
down to the underground world,
there is no escape, they can't
be stopped.

The question is how, Do
you have what it takes to
make no mistakes? I wait and
wonder, Is this all just for fun?
Or has my life just begun, It's been
so tormented for so many years,and
I've shed so many tears, you see It
may be easy for you to say,
But for me It's just another day,
I long for the day you come and say,
Ok It's time to move on and make
a new life, and you won't
have to fight no more,
It's so hard for me
You could never know,
But trust in me It's no show,
I've waited so long for the
time to be right, and I hope
and pray every night,
Please don't say It's
ok, It never was, nor will
It ever be,
All I want, Is you and to be free.

In the times of darkness they wait
Until you're asleep,
They get in your head as if you were dead.
They walk with you, they talk with you and
You think you're awake.
You can do the unlimited in your dreams
So it seems, you're out of the world,
You make your own rules,
Now it's up to you,
What will you do?
What would you change in your dream
and what would it mean?
If you could only have this one dream
To come true, would it really be you?
If it were to come true...

A Child With A Dream

The child is out there all alone,
He has no home to call his own.
He's on the street with nothing to eat;
He wonders around looking on the ground;
He finds a half eaten sandwich.
The first meal of the day,
Now he will look for a place to stay.
He crawls under a car,
Not far from a bar.
When he awakens the next day,
He slides out from under the car.
Walks over to the bar,
Looking for breakfast.
A fight breaks out in the parking lot,
A man pulls out a gun;
The other man runs.
The boy was caught in the cross-fire,
He was shot in the heart.
The people run out of the bar,
To see what the noise was.
A Boy lies dead, and there was nothing said,
But oh just another kid,
Little did they know
he had a dream,
It was one day to help other children
With no home, have one of their very own.

deep deep sleep
you Haven't had
anything to eat,
Cupboards are bare
No one seems to care,
You're too proud to ask for help,
You can't walk, you're falling fast
Hoping this feeling won't last,
You're in pain and
you're going insane
Forgot your name,
There's no one to blame,
You want to leave this world
you Know there's a better place
That's worth the fight
In the after life,
You know it's better in
any kind of weather
You'll feel light as a feather,
My dear you know your time is near
So don't disappear, have no fear
So let go I know it's for the best
Just forget about the rest,
You'll have a blast
If you don't think about your past.

Some dreams do
Come true,
But only to the
extent of the
few,
That of time
there might never
be one for you
so true to the
effect of being
kind in the heart
an soul,
And undemanding
of your time and mind
and uncontrolling
of the situations that
surround your life
that are uncontrollable
and unsayable,
You will forever be
tamed to the fact
and lame until the
savior arrives.

upside down and you have
no where to go, no one to
turn to you want to crawl in a hole
and forget about life,
Well my friend I've been there
and It's not the answer,
for if you have your heath
you are the one with the wealth.
Easy to say I know but every
day take it slow, and you will
find that your life is worth
the fight think of what you
want, and do your best an you will
start to see the rest,
